Ralphs and the UFCW SoCal Locals have reached a new tentative agreement for pharmacists represented by Locals 135, 324, 770, 1428 and 1442. This deal was reached after a full day of discussions between the Company and union officials.
Local 1167 previously ratified the September 11 Comprehensive Offer to Settle.
What’s in the New Agreement
Ralphs new offer prioritizes wage increases over supplemental pension investment, delivering what your pharmacist-led bargaining committee said matters most to you:
Understanding How the Deal was Made
The new agreement restructures the Company’s investment by eliminating the third-year wage investment included in the comprehensive offer to settle and redistributing investments planned for years one and two of the agreement.
We Encourage You to Vote for Ratification
Our goal from day one is to invest in a market-competitive comprehensive compensation package. We believe this new deal does just that.
We Believe No One Wins with a Strike: Your full 2026 increase of $3.50/hr will be effective the first Monday after ratification. A strike or 2nd no vote will only delay that increase, effectively reducing the Company’s investment in you.
This is a strong offer that provides increases for all pharmacists. We encourage you to vote in favor of ratification.
Next Steps
Ralphs is preparing responsibly for potential disruption, so patients continue to have access to care.
