Bargaining Resumes + Mediator Returns to Support Progress at the Table

Today, Ralphs is back at the bargaining table with the UFCW SoCal Locals for our final scheduled bargaining dates. A federal mediator has returned to help both sides continue working toward common ground and a balanced agreement.

Productive Conversations Continue
So far, the company and union have had meaningful discussions on key issues, including staffing and self-checkout. These are important topics for both our associates and our business, and we’re encouraged by the dialogue taking place.

Hopeful Outlook
While there is still work to be done, we believe that by working together we will be able to reach a tentative agreement this week that is good for associates and helps to keep groceries affordable for the communities we serve.

Next Steps

  • Bargaining is scheduled to continue June 26-27.
  • We will continue to share updates in huddles, on FEED and on com.
  • Share any questions with your store leader. If they do not have the answer, they will find out and get back to you as soon as possible.

Hoy, Ralphs regresa a la mesa de negociación con los locales de SoCal de UFCW para nuestras fechas de negociación finales programadas. Un mediador federal regresa para ayudar a ambas partes a continuar trabajando para encontrar un punto común y un acuerdo equilibrado.

Las conversaciones productivas continúan
Hasta el momento, la compañía y el sindicato han tenido discusiones significativas sobre temas clave, lo que incluye la dotación de personal y el sistema de autopago. Estos son temas importantes tanto para nuestros asociados como para nuestro negocio, y nos alienta el diálogo que se está llevando a cabo.

Perspectiva esperanzadora
Si bien aún queda trabajo por hacer, creemos que, al trabajar juntos, esta semana podremos llegar a un acuerdo tentativo que sea bueno para los asociados y ayude a mantener los comestibles asequibles para las comunidades a las que servimos.
